Orange County Supervisor & Future Congresswoman Michelle Steel
Supervisor Michelle Steel is in her second term, having been overwhelmingly re-elected to her north-west Orange County district in 2018. Prior to serving on the Board of Supervisors, Michelle served two terms as southern California’s elected Member of the State Board of Equalization from 2006-2014, fighting high taxes and government inefficiency.
Over the past 15 years, Michelle Steel has also served on the President’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, California World Trade Commission, Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, and Los Angeles Airport and Fire Commissions. Recognizing her extensive public policy experience, President George W. Bush appointed Michelle Steel to the White House Conference on Aging.
Educated in Korea, Japan, and the United States, Michelle holds a degree in Business from Pepperdine University, and an Executive MBA from the University of Southern California.
Michelle and her husband, Shawn, have been married since 1981. They live in Surfside, California. Michelle and Shawn were long time Members of the Los Angeles County Lincoln Clubs prior to moving to Orange County.
Michelle is now running against freshman Democrat Congressman Harley Rouda, who beat longtime Republican Congressman Dana Rohrabacher in the Democrat wave year of 2018 by pretending to be a moderate. Rouda has marched in lockstep with Speaker Nancy Pelosi of San Francisco ever since, including voting to impeach President Trump! There are still more Republicans than Democrats in this OC coastal district, and Harley’s going down in 2020!
Come hear the exciting plans about how Michelle is going to reclaim this district for the Republicans and how you can help at the Lincoln Club!!
