Republican Long “David” Liu, a Southern California attorney and small business owner, says he has been an “outspoken critic” of those who discriminate against minorities in the community. After years of advocacy as an attorney, he has decided to run for the California State Assembly. Liu says that California needs “bold leadership to overcome our homelessness, rampant crime, fiscal recklessness, high taxes, failing education system and highest-in-the-nation gas prices.” David won 40% of the vote in a district with 17% Republican registration.

48th Assembly District – Dan T. Tran

Dan Tran, a Glendora native and graduate of Azusa Pacific University with a degree in business management, has thrived in the title industry for an impressive 19 years, earning a reputation for his dedication and expertise. As a proud father of four beautiful daughters, he seamlessly balances his successful career with his commitment to family. In addition to his professional achievements, Dan is actively engaged in community service and education. He teaches catechism and serves as a referee at Holy Name of Mary School, while also contributing as a substitute teacher at Bishop Amat High School. His involvement extends to the Knights of Columbus, where he actively participates in charitable activities.

Dan’s leadership extends to the business realm, as he served as the president of a local chapter of NAHREP, the largest business association for Hispanics in the country. He focused on wealth building and advocacy, showcasing his commitment to economic empowerment within the Hispanic community. Additionally, Dan serves as a National Coach with NAHREP, contributing his expertise on a broader scale.
