Conservative GOP Strategist, Steve Frank

Steve Frank has been the Energizer Bunny of the conservative wing of the California GOP for over 50 years. He was on the Nixon for Governor Speakers Bureau in 1962 (!). In 1968, he was California State Chairman of Youth for Nixon for President.

Steve then served his country in Vietnam in the Army’s First Infantry Division, and came home to co-found the POW-MIA Bracelet campaign along with former Congressman Bob Dornan. Very active in the Republican Party in the 1970s and 1980s, Steve is a Past President of the California Republican Assembly (CRA) and founder of the National Federation of Republican Assemblies. He has served on the Board of Directors of the California Republican Party and was a Presidential Elector for Ronald Reagan in 1980.

Steve publishes the California Political News and Views e-newsletter and advises campaigns and issue groups on using the internet to mobilize people, develop volunteer organizations and advocate for causes. Steve is also active in many charitable causes and is a Past President of the Girl Scout Councils of California. He has been married to Lesley for 42 years and is the proud father of two daughters and three granddaughters.
