Paul Webster-Los Angeles Is Not Normal: Cleaning Up Our Streets and Public Spaces by Making Elected Officials Do Their Jobs

Paul Webster is a subject matter expert on homelessness and government programs addressing homelessness. He is the executive director of the LA Alliance for Human Rights, a grassroots organization that successfully sued the City and County of Los Angeles for their poor performance in addressing the homelessness crisis.

He worked for Solutions for Change, a homelessness program for families which required sobriety, workforce training, and accountability, and through his work on homelessness policy, was recruited by the Trump Administration as a senior policy advisor to HUD Secretary Ben Carson working out of the LA Field Office on Los Angeles Street. After his service at HUD, Paul formed Hope Street Coalition to change policy, save lives, and improve communities.

Paul received a bachelor’s degree in Communication from California State University, Long Beach, and a master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Southern California.

He lives in Vista, the city with the largest number of craft breweries per capita, is an avid do-it-yourselfer, and plays disc golf.
